All About Me
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, my family has had roots planted in California for many generations. The vibrance and diversity of the environment that I have had the privilege to call home has greatly impacted my work. I explore the landscape, collecting pebbles, shells, and plantlets in a similar manner to my exploration of whatever art materials call my name. I take this same careful curiosity into my role as a therapist, with the aim of encouraging clients to take steps towards the life they desire. Just as there is not one way to create, there is not one way to live, and I hope to foster a space where others feel empowered to live with agency and authenticity.

Artist Statement (Abridged)
At age 3, I began using a hot pink Barbie film camera with a green flower lens to capture the fashion shows my friends and I created. We would transform into supermodels with clothes, costumes, and accessories found around my room. More than anything, I loved to freeze these moments of joy in time. I spent hours of my childhood looking through photo albums of me and my family, reminiscing and reviewing each image as though I perhaps had missed something last time. Over the years photography held my attention. It wasn't until college that the idea of what my artist practice could consist of explained. There was a time, in which I was perturbed that I would be forced to explore medium outside of photography because for a decade and a half I had been a "photographer."
